Ingredients:
  • Wheat Flour, Whole-grain, Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  • Brown Sugar, Sugar 4 cups
  • Milk, Producer, Warm, hot Milk 4 cups.
  • Ghee, Ghee ½ cup
  • Vanilla Extract, Vanilla Essence Vanilla essence 1 tsp.
  • Cashew Nuts Dry Roasted, Without Salt Added, Kaju, Fried Roasted cashew nuts 1 tbsp

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • 1. Heat the ghee on low heat and roast the wheat flour for one minute only.
  • 2. Add the sugar mix well, and then add the milk cook over low heat till it thickens.
  • 3. Keep stirring constantly; add the vanilla essence and cashew nuts.
  • 4. When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan., turn onto a greased plate and cut into pieces

Cook's Tip:
Use milk instead of water to knead puri dough. Puris will become soft and luscious.
