Servings: 2 Preparation time:
  • 1st marinade:
  • Chicken, Meat And Skin And Giblets And Neck, Raw, Boneless Chicken 2 Chicken (leg piece)
  • Ginger Paste, Puree, 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • Ginger Garlic Paste, 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt To taste
  • Lemon Juice, Raw, Lime Juice, Lemon Juice Juice (of quarter lime) lemon
  • 2nd marinade:
  • Yogurt, Plain, Low Fat, Curd, yoghurt 100 gm( greek) yogurt (thick yogurt)
  • Turmeric, Ground,powder, Haldi, Nitu Didi turmeric powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp kashmiri chili powder
  • Dhania Powder , Coriander Powder, Corriander Powder, NITU DIDIS CORIANDER POWDER, Coriander Pd 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  • Pepper, Black Powder, Pippali, Ground Pepper 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • Fenugreek Seed, Kasuri Methi, Kasoori Methi Dried, Menthya, Vendayam, Menthulu,uluva 2 tsp kasuri methi( dry fenugreek leaves)
  • Ghee, 1 tbsp ghee
  • To serve: Chaat masala
  • Lemons, Raw, With Peel, Lime, Lemon Lime(lemon juice)
  • Onions, Raw, Onion Onion( rings)

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • Mix the chicken with 1st marinade and keep aside for half an hour.
  • After half an hour, mix the ingredients under 2nd marinade and put on to the chicken. Let it rest for more half an hour.
  • Then Cook the chicken in a pan. (Watch the video above)
  • Finally grill the chicken straight on the flame. (Watch the video above)
  • Tandoori chicken is ready. Serve with onion rings, green chutney, lime wedge and chaat masala.

Cook's Tip:
When you flatten a chicken breast, it not only gives it a uniform thickness but also tenderizes the meat by breaking down some of the fibres.
Buy a yogurt maker which contains 6 smaller bottles. Boil the milk and let it cool down. Add a little yogurt and stir it. Por the mixture in the containers and set the temperature for 8-10 hrs. It is guaranteed that you will have perfect yogurt whenever yoiu try thismethod.
To get flavour of methi in gravy, take a small ball of dough and roll on methi seeds. Fry this in plain oil. Remove when it browns. Throw away the methi ball and use the oil.
