Green beans or French beans are low in calories and rich source of dietry fibers , Vitamin B , and Vitamin A. In addition , green beans also contains minerals like Iron , Calcium , Magnesium etc. I love to add beans in most of my dishes and from all of them, this Potato Beans dry curry is my all time favorite . Everyone in the family liked it with hot Chapati and some plain yoghurt. Today I am sharing recipe of this simple yet delicious stir fry. So let’s start the recipe .yum

 

Servings: 3 Preparation time:
Ingredients:
  • Beans, French, Mature Seeds, Raw, Green Bean, Runner Bean 250 gm French /Green beans , chopped
  • Potato, Flesh And Skin, Raw, aloo 3 potatoes , cubed or cut lengthwise
  • Tomatoes, Red, Ripe, Raw, Red Tomato 2 tomatoes , chopped
  • Garlic, Raw, Garlic flakes, Lahsun, grated garlic, Garlic pods garlic flakes 4 (to 5/chopped)
  • Ginger Root, Raw, Fresh Ginger 2 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Green Chillies, Chilies, Hot Chili, Green, Raw, Chilli, Chilly 4 green chillies , chopped
  • Chat Masala, Chaat Masala Powder, (1 pinch asefetida) hing powder
  • Cumin Seed, Shahi Jeera, Nitu Didi cumin seed 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Green Chillies, Chilies, Hot Chili, Green, Raw, Chilli, Chilly Spices
  • Dhania Powder , Coriander Powder, Corriander Powder, NITU DIDIS CORIANDER POWDER, Coriander Pd 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Garam Masala Powder, NITU DIDIs garam masala powder 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Turmeric, Ground,powder, Haldi, Nitu Didi turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Red Chili Powder, Paprika, Deggi Mirch, Red Chilli Powder, Red Chilly, Red Ch 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt o taste
  • Canola Oil, Vegetable Oil, Cooking Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • Heat oil in a wok , fry the potato cubes till golden from both sides. Drain on paper towel and set aside.
  • Remove all the oil from wok remaining around 3 tablespoon , add asefetida and cumin seeds. Sauté for a minute. Add ginger and garlic , stir for 2 minutes.
  • Add all spices and salt followed by chopped tomatoes and chillies . Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add chopped beans , stir and cook for 7-10 minutes on low heat with frequent stirring. Do not add any water.
  • Add fried potatoes , mix well. Cook for 2 minutes more.
  • Remove from heat and serve hot with Chapati.

Cook's Tip:
Always warm dry spices like cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, etc. on a griddle before powdering. They will grind faster and the powder will be finer.

Don't put salt in the water until it comes to a boil. Salted water has a higher boiling point, so it'll take longer to boil
