Servings: 3 Preparation time:
  • Paneer, Panner 250 gms paneer (cut into small cubes)
  • Corn Flour, Maize Flour, Whole-grain, White, Cornflour 2tbsp corn flour
  • Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Unenriched, Atta 2tbsp all purpose flour
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt as per taste
  • Red Chili Sauce, Chilli Sauce 1tsp chili sauce (hot)
  • Red Chili Powder, Paprika, Deggi Mirch, Red Chilli Powder, Red Chilly, Red Ch 1/2tsp red chili powder
  • Orange Food Color, Colour Pinch of orange food color
  • Ginger Paste, Puree, 1/2tsp ginger paste
  • Ginger Garlic Paste, 1/2tsp garlic paste
  • Canola Oil, Vegetable Oil, Cooking Oil (for deep fry)
  • For the Sauce:
  • Canola Oil, Vegetable Oil, Cooking 2tbsp oil
  • Onions, Raw, Onion 2 onions (chopped)
  • Garlic, Raw, Garlic flakes, Lahsun, grated garlic, Garlic pods 10 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • Peppers, Sweet, Green, Raw, Capsicum, Bell Pepper 1 capsicum (chopped)
  • Peppers, Hot Chili, Red, Raw, Red Chilies, Chillies, Dry Red Chillies, Chilly 4 red chilies (slit)
  • Soya Sauce, Soy, 1tbsp soya sauce
  • Schezwan Sauce, 2tsp of schezwan sauce
  • Cornstarch, 1tbsp cornstarch
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt as per taste

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • First take the paneer cubes in a mixing bowl
  • Put the 2tbsp corn flour and 2tbsp all purpose flour
  • Put 1tsp of salt
  • Pour 1tsp of chili sauce
  • Sprinkle pinch of orange fruit color
  • Now add the ginger and garlic paste
  • Mix them altogether and add few drops of water if needed
  • Marinade the paneer for half an hour
  • After half an hour heating up oil in a wok (deep fry)
  • When the oil is hot enough put the paneer pieces one by one in the hot oil
  • Fry them till the outside coating of the paneer pieces become brown
  • Fry them for 5-10 minutes in slow flame
  • Now remove the fried paneer pieces
  • The paneer should remain crisp
  • Now start to make the sauce
  • Heating up 2tbsp of oil in a pan
  • When the oil is hot enough add finely chopped onions, red chilies, chopped garlic and chopped capsicum
  • Fry them till the onions become soft and the capsicum cooked
  • Now pour the soya sauce
  • Put the schezwan sauce now
  • Fry them altogether for few minutes and for extra sauce pour ½ cup of water
  • Now allow the ingredients boil little bit
  • When the sauce starts to boil adds the cornstarch and mix well
  • Put salt as per taste
  • Yammy sauce is ready now
  • Now add the crisp paneer pieces into the sauce and toss them
  • Paneer chili is ready to be serve

Cook's Tip:
to avoid wetness in salt during winter put the salt in air tight contained n put some pepper corns inside...
When frying vegetables, add them in a hot pan with little oil and then spray some on top of the vegetables. This way you can avoid using excess oil
Wash the garlic buds before peeling the skin. The skin of the garlic will come off easily and quickly
