Ingredients:
  • Paneer, Panner 1 cup paneer (small pieces)
  • Onions, Raw, Onions 1 onion (sliced)
  • Cashew Nuts Dry Roasted, Without Salt Added, Kaju, Fried 15 cashew nuts (soak into water)
  • Tomato Sauce, ¼ cup of tomato sauce
  • Red Food Color Coloring Agent, Colour 1tbsp of food color
  • Tomato Puree, 2tbsp of tomato puree
  • Whipped Cream, Fresh Cream 2tbsp of fresh cream
  • Cumin Powder, Jeera Powder,  NITU DIDIs cumin powder 1tsp cumin powder
  • 1tsp kasoori methi powder
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt per taste
  • Red Chili Powder, Paprika, Deggi Mirch, Red Chilli Powder, Red Chilly, Red Ch 1tsp red chili powder
  • Ginger Paste, Puree, 1/2tsp ginger paste
  • Ginger Garlic Paste, 1/2tsp garlic paste
  • Coriander Leaf Corriander, Cilantro Leaves, Green, Leaves, Parsley Leaves, Coriander Coriander leave (for garnish)
  • Olive Oil, 1tbsp olive oil
  • Butter, 4tbsp butter

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • Take a deep bottom pan and pour 1tbsp of oil in it
  • Make the oil hot and put the sliced onion in it
  • When the onions become soft move them out from the pan
  • Grind the fried onions with the soaked cashew nuts and make a paste
  • Now put 2tsp of butter in the same pan
  • Add ginger and garlic paste and stir them to fry for a minute
  • Now add the red chili powder
  • Cook for another minute
  • Pour the tomato paste and tomato puree now
  • Keep stirring to mix them well
  • Now add the onion and cashew nuts paste
  • Add cumin powder, coriander powder, kasoori methi powder and salt
  • Boil them for few minutes in low flame
  • Put the paneer pieces into the gravy
  • Now add the food color and cream
  • Mix them well
  • Paneer butter masala is ready
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Try the tasty paneer butter masala with kuchla, nun or paratha

Cook's Tip:
To prevent ants from attacking nuts, place a black peppercorn in the container.
