Pad Thai Noodles With Tofu

Servings: 2 Preparation time:
  • Noodles, Egg, Dry, Enriched, Egg Noodles 300g (Pad Thai) Noodles
  • Tamarinds, Raw, Imli, Tamarind Paste, Tamarind, Tamarid 1 Tbsp tamarind paste
  • Lemons, Raw, With Peel, Lime, Lemon (Juice of) 1 Lime
  • Soya Sauce, Soy, 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Siracha Sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • Sesame Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, Gingelly Oil 2 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • Ginger Garlic Paste, 1 Tsp Garlic paste (or 3 cloves of garlic)
  • 1 Thai Red Chilli
  • Sunflower Oil, Cooking Oil Refined, Sunflower Oil, Linoleic, Hydrogenated Oil 1 Tsp Sunflower Oil
  • Vegetables:
  • 150gm Beansprouts
  • Yardlong Bean, Raw, Long Podded Cowpea, Asparagus Bean, Snake Bean,  Chinese Long Bean 8 Asparagus( Trimmed and sliced half diagonally)
  • Paneer, Panner 250gm(Tofu, cubed)panner
  • Soya Beans Dried, Soy, 100gm Soy Beans
  • Peanut Oil, 50gm (roasted) peanuts( coarsely chopped)
  • Lemons, Raw, With Peel, Lime, Lemon 2 lime( quartered)
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt as needed
  • Kali Mirch Black Peppercorn, Milagu,kurumulaku, peppers Pepper as needed.
  • Garnish (with coriander leaves)

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • Heat Sunflower oil in a wok and fry cubes of Tofu until golden all over. Set it aside. This could take about 6 minutes+.
  • In a small bowl,mix tamarind paste, lime juice,soy sauce, siracha sauce, and 1Tbsp of water. If you are using Tamarind Sauce, you might not need water to mix.
  • Cook the Soy Beans in Hot Water for 6 minutes. Drain it and set it aside.
  • Heat sesame oil in the same wok and add the Asparagus and stir fry until tender. Add Garlic and Saute for a minute, check it doesn’t burn. Add finely sliced Thai red Chilli, Brussel Sprouts and saute for 3-4 minutes in high heat. Stir in Pad Thai Noodles, sauce, tofu, soy beans and salt as needed. Cook through on high heat for 2 minutes.
  • Check for flavours and add salt & pepper as needed.
  • Sprinkle some crushed peanuts, lime juice, and coriander leaves. Serve Vegetarian Pad Thai Noodles with Tofu,Asparagus & Soy Beans Hot.

Cook's Tip:
Place overripe tomatoes in cold water and add some salt. Overnight they will become firm and fresh.
to avoid oil stains in clothes, better rub the place where there is oil stains with lemon dipped in salt n then wash with soap..the oil stains will disappear
When measuring wet ingredients like oil or milk, always place the measuring cup on the counter to ensure a level surface.
