Ingredients:
  • Cottage Cheese, Lowfat, 2%, Cottage Cheese - 200 gms. [Cut into cubes]
  • Dhania Powder , Coriander Powder, Corriander Powder, NITU DIDIS CORIANDER POWDER, Coriander Pd Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp.
  • Peas, Green, Raw, (Frozen) green peas - 3 cups
  • Turmeric, Ground,powder, Haldi, Nitu Didi turmeric powder Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp.
  • Onions, Raw, Onion Onion - 1 [Chopped]
  • Tomatoes, Red, Ripe, Raw, Red Tomato Tomato - 1 [Chopped]
  • Ginger Root, Raw, Fresh Ginger Ginger - 1 piece
  • Pepper, Black Powder, Pippali, Ground Pepper Pepper Powder - ¼ tsp.
  • Red Chili Powder, Paprika, Deggi Mirch, Red Chilli Powder, Red Chilly, Red Ch Red Chilli Powder - ½ tsp.
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Canola Oil, Vegetable Oil, Cooking Oil - 6 tbsp.

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • 1 .Place the chopped onion and ginger in a blender and blend well.
  • 2 Heat oil in a sauce pan and fry the paneer until light brown, drain and keep aside.
  • 3 .In the same oil add the onion ginger paste from the blender and stir fry until the
  • onion paste turns a light brown colour.
  • 4. Add the chopped tomato, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • 5 Pour in 2 cups of water, add the pepper powder and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 6.Add the frozen peas and fried paneer and simmer for another 10 minutes.

Cook's Tip:
Homemade cottage cheese will remain fresh longer if you wrap it in blotting paper before refrigerating.
