Ingredients:
  • Chicken, Meat And Skin And Giblets And Neck, Raw, Boneless Chicken Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Onions, Raw, Onions Chopped onion 2
  • Tomatoes, Red, Ripe, Raw, Red Tomato Chopped tomato 2
  • Ginger Garlic Paste, Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Turmeric, Ground,powder, Haldi, Nitu Didi turmeric powder Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Peppers, Hot Chili, Red, Raw, Red Chilies, Chillies, Dry Red Chillies, Chilly Dry chilli 8 no
  • Coriander Seeds, Hara Dhaniya Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • Poppy Seed, Khus Khus Poppy seeds 2 tsp
  • Peanuts, Raw, Groundnuts Roasted groundnut 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon, Ground, Cinamon, Dalchini, Cinnamon Powder, Cinnamon Sticks Cinnamon 1
  • Cloves, Ground, Clove, Lavang Cloves 2 no
  • Cardamom Powder, Cardamom Pd, Choti Elaichi, Cardamom, Cardamon, Elachi Cardamom 2 no
  • Coconut Milk Thick, Coconut milk 1 cup
  • Canola Oil, Vegetable Oil, Cooking Oil 25 ml
  • Curry Leaf, Murraya Koenigi, Karivepallai, Curry Leaves, dry curry leaves Curry Leaves
  • Coriander Leaf Corriander, Cilantro Leaves, Green, Leaves, Parsley Leaves, Coriander Coriander leaf
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt to taste.

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • 1. Heat the pan,then fry dry chilli,coriander seeds,poppy seeds,roasted ground nut,cinnamon stick and cloves.
  • Grind all the fried item make a fine powder.
  • 2. Heat oil in a Kadai, fry chopped onion till get slightly brown color,then add tomato,ginger garlic paste curry leaves till saute.
  • 3. Add chicken,turmeric powder and salt, fry for 2 minutes. Add 2 cups water.Keep it in slow flame till chicken is cooked.
  • 4. Add coconut milk,remove from flame after 2 minutes.
  • 5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • 6. Serve hot with south Indian paratha..

Cook's Tip:
If you cook Indian food, you are bound to get turmeric stains on your clothes at one time or another. The good news is they're really easy to take out. Wash the stained clothes/kitchen linen immedeately in cool water and soap. Dry in the sun and the stain will fade to a very pale pink. Wash the article again and the stain will be gone!

to avoid oil stains in clothes, better rub the place where there is oil stains with lemon dipped in salt n then wash with soap..the oil stains will disappear

If poppy seeds are used in grinding, soak it in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes, if you are grinding it in a mixie.

put coriander leaves in an air tight container n keep in refrigerator...it will remain fresh for a longer time

preserve ginger garlic paste Fry them in oiil before grinding and store in the same oiil.
