Ingredients:
  • Chicken, Meat And Skin And Giblets And Neck, Raw, Boneless Chicken 300 gms chicken
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt 1 1/2tsp salt
  • Lemon Juice, Raw, Lime Juice, Lemon Juice 1tbsp lemon juice
  • Pepper, Black Powder, Pippali, Ground Pepper 1/2tsp black pepper powder
  • Red Chili Powder, Paprika, Deggi Mirch, Red Chilli Powder, Red Chilly, Red Ch 1tsp red chili powder
  • Cumin Seed, Shahi Jeera, Nitu Didi cumin seed 1tsp cumin seed
  • Coriander Seeds, Hara Dhaniya 1tsp coriander seed
  • Saunf Fennel Seed, 1tsp Fennel seeds
  • Canola Oil, Vegetable Oil, Cooking 2tbsp oil
  • Mustard Seed, Ground, Sarson, Mustered,mustard Seed Powder 1tsp mustard seeds
  • Onions, Raw, Onions 2 small onions chopped
  • Garlic, Raw, Garlic flakes, Lahsun, grated garlic, Garlic pods 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • Green Chillies, Chilies, Hot Chili, Green, Raw, Chilli 1 green chili
  • Turmeric, Ground,powder, Haldi, Nitu Didi turmeric powder 1/2tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 fresh chopped
  • Bay Leaf, Tej Patta 1 Bay leaf
  • Water Boiled Plain Raw Mineral, Hot, Warm Cold, Mix, sparkling, Carbonated 1 cup Water
  • Coriander Leaf Corriander, Cilantro Leaves, Green, Leaves, Parsley Leaves, Coriander for garnish cilantro leaves

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • Take the chicken in a pot
  • Add 1tsp of salt
  • Add 1tbsp of lemon juice and 1/2tsp of black pepper powder
  • Add 1tsp of red chili powder
  • Blend the spices into the chicken very well
  • Marinate the chicken for minimum of 2-3 hours
  • Put 1tsp of cumin seeds, 1tsp of coriander seeds and 1tsp of Fennel seeds on a hot pan
  • Dry roast them and cooled down them and crashed them to make a fine powder
  • Take a deep bottom pan (kadhai)
  • Pour 2tbsp of oil in it and make it hot
  • Add 1tbsp of mustard seeds
  • when the mustard seeds starts splattering add chopped onions, green chili, ginger and garlic
  • Mix in everything well and fry for few minutes until the onions turn brown
  • add 1/2tsp of salt
  • Add 1/2tsp of Turmeric
  • Now add the special Masala which is already made with fennel, cumin and coriander seeds
  • Now put the chicken pieces
  • When the chicken will turn white add the chopped tomatoes
  • Add 1 Bay leaf
  • Add 1 cup of water
  • Mix them well and cover it
  • Let it simmer for 7-8 minutes
  • Garnish it with cilantro leaves just before serving it
  • Serve it hot with rice, Nan and Paranthas

Cook's Tip:
microwave a lemon for 15 seconds and double the juice you get before squeezing
