Ingredients:
  • Spinach, Raw, Spinach Leaves, Palak, Leafy Greens 500 gms spinach (washed and chopped)
  • Rice Flour, White, Powder, Rice Flour 1tbsp white flour
  • Whipped Cream, Fresh Cream ½ cup fresh cream
  • Onions, Raw, Onions ½ cup onion (chopped)
  • Butter, 2tbsp butter
  • Garlic, Raw, Garlic flakes, Lahsun, grated garlic, Garlic pods 4 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • Pepper, Black Powder, Pippali, Ground Pepper 1tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt as per taste
  • Water Boiled Plain Raw Mineral, Hot, Warm Cold, Mix, sparkling, Carbonated 1 cup water

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • First take some water in a deep bottom pan and boil it
  • Now put the chopped spinach in the boiling water
  • Boil it for a minute
  • Now drain the water and put the spinach in the cold water (it will keep the color of spinach green)
  • Now grind the chopped spinach and make a puree
  • Now put a pan on oven
  • Put 2tbsp of butter
  • Add the garlic now and fry for a minute
  • Now add the chopped onion
  • Fry the onion till it become soft
  • Now add the white four (maida)
  • After adding maida keep stirring continuously
  • Now add black pepper and salt and keep stirring for 1 minute
  • Now add little bit of water
  • Cook them till the gravy become thicker
  • Now add the spinach puree and mix it well
  • When the pure starts boiling put it down and pour it into a bowl
  • Now add the cream over the recipe as garnish
  • Cream of spinach is ready to be served

Cook's Tip:
To cut onion without crying - peel and cut onions under running water. Chop onions near a gas flame. Or refrigerating onions before chopping
