Servings: 6 Preparation time:
  • Crustaceans, Crab, Blue, Raw, Crab Crab 1.5 kg (cleaned)
  • Onions, Raw, Onion Onion 4( thinly sliced.)
  • Canola Oil, Vegetable Oil, Cooking 3 tbsp oil
  • Red Chili Powder, Paprika, Deggi Mirch, Red Chilli Powder, Red Chilly, Red Ch Chili Powder 2 tbsp (heaped)
  • Dhania Powder , Coriander Powder, Corriander Powder, NITU DIDIS CORIANDER POWDER, Coriander Pd Coriander powder 2 tbsp
  • Cumin Powder, Jeera Powder,  NITU DIDIs cumin powder Cumin Powder 1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala Powder, NITU DIDIs garam masala powder Garam Masala 1 tbsp
  • Pepper, Black Powder, Pippali, Ground Pepper Pepper Powder 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes, Red, Ripe, Raw, Red Tomato 2 (chopped) tomatoes
  • Water Boiled Plain Raw Mineral, Hot, Warm Cold, Mix, sparkling, Carbonated 2 cups water
  • Coriander Leaf Corriander, Cilantro Leaves, Green, Leaves, Parsley Leaves, Coriander 1 tbsp coriander leaves

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • Heat 3 tbsp oil and saute the onions till slightly brown.
  • Add a tbsp of ginger garlic paste and saute till it is a nice brown.
  • Saute till oil oozes out onlow flame. keep sprinkling water so that it doesnt stick to the bottom.
  • Add 2 chopped tomatoes, keep the flame on high and saute till it is all mashed up
  • Now add the cleaned crab, 2 cups water, required salt and let it get cooked on medium flame.
  • When all the water dries up and masala is coated, take off fire and garnish with coriander leaves.

Cook's Tip:
Cayenne pepper can add a little fire to recipes. Use less, taste and then add more if you’d like.
Rub slices of onion on dosa tawa (griddle) before spreading dosas. This will avoid the dosa from stubbornly sticking to the griddle or tawa
To remove the skin of tomatoes, place them in warm water for 5-10 minutes. The skin can then be easily peeled off.
