Servings: 3 Preparation time:
  • Fish, Mackerel, King, Raw, (King Fish 1 slice
  • Prawn, Shrimp Or large) prawns 6 nos
  • Red Chili Powder, Paprika, Deggi Mirch, Red Chilli Powder, Red Chilly, Red Ch (Kashmiri) Chili Powder 1 (heaped) tsp
  • Turmeric, Ground,powder, Haldi, Nitu Didi turmeric powder Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt as Needed
  • Lemon-lime Soda, Contains Caffeine, Lime Soda Lime (Juice )1 tsp
  • Ginger Paste, Puree, Ginger Paste 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste, Garlic Paste 1/2 tsp
  • Rice Flour, White, Powder, Rice Flour Rice Flour 1 (heaped) tsp

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • Make a paste of all these and apply on the fish and keep aside for atleast half an hour
  • Shallow fry it in coconut oil.
  • Serve warm with sliced onions.

Cook's Tip:
To preserve the colour of turmeric Apply a little ghee to the bottom and sides of the jar before storing.
If you misfired with the seasoning (and we all do that sometime!) and your curry is saltier than you like, don't throw it out. All you need to do is peel and cut a large potato in half and add it to your curry. It will absorb the extra salt!
If the lemon or lime is hard, put it in warm water for 5-10 minutes to make it easier to squeeze.
