Ingredients:
  • Chicken, Meat And Skin And Giblets And Neck, Raw, Boneless Chicken Chicken - 300 grams, (cleaned and cut into small pieces)
  • Cinnamon, Ground, Cinamon, Dalchini, Cinnamon Powder, Cinnamon Sticks Cinnamon - 1 stick
  • Salt, Common Salt, Rock Salt, Table Salt Salt - to taste
  • Cashew Nuts Dry Roasted, Without Salt Added, Kaju, Fried Cashew (& almond paste) - 1/2 cup (a handful ground smoothly)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste, Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Onions, Raw, Onion Onion - one chopped
  • Turmeric, Ground,powder, Haldi, Nitu Didi turmeric powder Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder, Paprika, Deggi Mirch, Red Chilli Powder, Red Chilly, Red Ch Chilly powder - 2 tsp
  • Dhania Powder , Coriander Powder, Corriander Powder, NITU DIDIS CORIANDER POWDER, Coriander Pd Coriander powder - 1 tspn
  • Orange Food Color, Colour Orange colour - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Butter, Butter - 3 tspn
  • Canola Oil, Vegetable Oil, Cooking Oil - 2 tspn
  • Tomatoes, Red, Ripe, Raw, Red Tomato Tomato (puree) - 2 (tomatoes blended smoothly)

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • Fry onions in oil till transparent.
  • Add cinnamon and let it fry.
  • Then add ginger & garlic paste along with a little water.
  • Stir continuously.
  • Add turmeric, chilly, coriander powder with salt and mix well.
  • Pour in tomato puree, cashew & almond paste - mix well with water.
  • When it starts to boil add the chicken which should be mixed with a little colour.
  • Then add sufficient water for the chicken to boil.
  • The gravy should get thick or according to your requirement.
  • Before switching off add butter and serve hot with parathas.

Cook's Tip:
if in any food item excess salt is present make small balls of wheat flour with water{like how u make for chapathi } put in the food item , it will absorb the excess salt. later u can remove those balls.

To preserve the colour of turmeric Apply a little ghee to the bottom and sides of the jar before storing.

Sprinkle a bit of salt in the frying pan before adding chicken. It will cut down on the amount of grease splattering.

To remove garlic odor from the hands, just rub the hands with a piece of stainless steel flatware under running water and most of the smell magically goes away.
