Ingredients:
  • Bisquick, 2 cups bisquick,
  • Sour Cream, Light, Soured Cream sour cream
  • Brown Sugar, 2 cups sugar,
  • Water Boiled Plain Raw Mineral, Hot, Warm Cold, Mix, sparkling, Carbonated 1 cup water

Instructions (Preparation Steps):

  • Make one thread consistency syrup with sugar and water.
  • Make a dough with bisquick and sour cream. Roll it into balls and flatten slightly. Score a circle on the patty
  • with a knife or small cap.
  • Deep fry in crisco or oil on low fire till a med brown.
  • Dip in syrup by pushing it deep down, remove and set aside. Can place a walnut or pecan in the center
  • immediately after dipping.

Cook's Tip:
If you have no sour cream, add one teaspoon of lemon juice to every half pint of fresh cream and stir. Let it stand for ten minutes before use

Want to get that water boiling quicker? Easy. Put your pot of water on the stove to boil. Cover the pot with its lid, and put a good mound of table salt on top of the lid. Depending on the type of lid, you might have to turn it upside down so the salt won't go everywhere!
